2. Contacting the Controller

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you voluntarily provide, in particular your name, contact details, company and the content of the communication.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process data to receive, assess and handle your request and to conduct subsequent communication. If the request concerns entering into a contract, the legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general communication, the legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Technical data

When you visit the website, the hosting provider may process standard server logs, such as the IP address, time of the request, requested URL and browser technical data. This data is used for the secure and reliable operation of the website.

5. Recipients of data

Data may be processed by authorised persons of the Controller and by hosting or email service providers where necessary for website operation and communication. We do not sell the data or use it for marketing without a separate legal basis.

6. Retention period

We retain communications for the time needed to handle the request and subsequently according to the nature of the resulting relationship or the need to protect legal claims. Server and security logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s settings.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing and, where applicable, to object to processing or request data portability. You may send your request to bsc@bsc.sk. You also have the right to lodge a petition or complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated individual decision-making or profiling in our communications.
